Judah is 6 months old...

Judah was 6 months old this past Saturday. He is getting so big and trying to show his true boy colors everyday. Here is his favorite spot, being outside.

The new swing set...

Matt's parents came this past weekend to help build the new swing set for Mackenzie and Judah. As you can see they were hard at work here cutting all of the wood first.

Mackenzie wanted to help so bad and this was her trying her hardest to help.

Here it is. The final piece being added. We still have a cargo net to add but that will come in time.

Mackenzie and Judah approved of the new swings. They both enjoyed their first time on the swings.

Thank you Mimi and Granddaddy for your help!

Fun Pictures from this past weekend...

Mackenzie wanted to put Judah in this box and she gave him this spoon, too. His motions were actually of him trying to row.

We can't use the faithful bouncy seat anymore. Judah has learned how to reach over the edge to try to touch the floor. He about made my heart skip a beat seeing him like this.

Judah's Baby Dedication - Mother's Day

Judah's baby dedication was yesterday on Mother's Day. Mackenzie's baby dedication was also on Mother's Day when she was a week old at our home church in GA four years ago. So for Judah to be dedicated on Mother's Day was special. Our pastor Bro. Bill Pritchett is in the first picture with us.

Here is the family, all together after the service.

We hope everyone enjoyed their Mother's Day.

Mackenzie's 4th Birthday

We hope everyone has been doing well. We have been staying busy getting settled in our new home and also with the students at church. We had our first two trips with the youth and college students and also with planning Mackenzie's 4th birthday. April has been busy for us. Summer is coming and will be just as busy but we will hopefully find time to take a breather. The beach isn't far so we are hoping for some rest time in June.

Mackenzie turned 4 on May 2nd and we celebrated her birthday with her friends on May 3rd in our home. Mackenzie and one of her presents from Mommy and Daddy. She has been into Snow White these past few months and we found a beautiful snowglobe for her. She played the music over and over.
We decorated cupcakes as a last resort because of the storms on her party day we couldn't do the horse back rides we were planning. Thanks to Mimi and Granddaddy for quick thinking on decorating the cupcakes and also face painting. Everyone had a great time.
What a cute picture of our birthday cowgirl.

Blowing out the number 4 candle.

Here is Mackenzie and her helper Payton opening her new scooter from Nana and Papa.

Visit with Ellie and Tyler

We had to go two weekends ago and visit Matt's sister and brother-in-law in Fairhope, AL. Matt's sister was in the hospital for viral meningitis and we went to help with their little ones. Of course Mackenzie enjoyed every minute with Ellie and so did Judah with Tyler. Matt's sister came home the day we came home and is doing well now.

Tyler was showing Judah how to work the saucer. They loved talking to each other. Tyler just turned one in February. They will be getting into everything soon. We can already see it now.

Youth Trip to DeSoto Caverns

Matt and a few of our student leaders took a group from the youth group to DeSoto Caverns near Birmingham on April 18th weekend. They had fun doing the activities in the park there and also spending the night in the cave there. We will updating the blog soon with pictures from the newly remodeled youth room we have been working on with many volunteers from the church. Stay tuned!

Passion '08 Weekend

We took a few of the college students who were able to go to Passion this year in Atlanta on April 11th weekend. We were also able to go to our home church, Eagle's Landing First Baptist Church in McDonough, GA. The students were excited to meet Mark Hall from Casting Crowns while visiting our home church.
