We are pleased to announce that Sadye Elyce Tyler made her way into the world on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 5:24 p.m. and weighed 8 lbs. 9 oz. and was 21 3/4 inches long. She is the biggest little one, ahead of Judah and Mackenzie in her birth weight. It all started on Thursday night, February 25 when we ate dinner with our neighbors and we had been trying all sorts of different kinds of food to get her here that week. Well, our neighbor made spicy lettuce wraps and we also had pork fried rice and egg rolls. Well, even typing that menu makes me sick right now thinking about it. But that night I started feeling horrible and just tried to sleep and I was surprised that I was able to. But I did and woke up on Friday morning feeling a little better but not 100% so I took it easy that morning and tried to get a few things done around the house. Mackenzie's class at school had invited parents and grandparents to eat lunch with their class during the week and we hadn't gone yet so I tried the best that I could to go and be there with her. Not knowing that when I left the house that would be the last time I would be at home for a while. I enjoyed the visit with her class and when I left to go home I wasn't feeling well at all and called the Dr's office to ask about the symptoms that I was having and they told me to go to the hospital to be monitored and I got worried then. Well, Matt was at home waiting on me to come home and the roller coaster began. He had to get Judah with our friends to make sure he was taken care of and that Mackenzie had someone available for her after school and I was having contractions about 5 minutes apart. They admitted me Friday afternoon and my contractions continued throughout the afternoon. However, they slowed down and I was able to sleep through the night and they started to induce on Saturday morning at 4 a.m. since I wasn't going any further with the process. I was certainly blessed with the Dr. that delivered Sadye because he is a wonderful Dr. The induction process started and continued all day and by that afternoon Sadye come to join our family. I was so ready for it to be over and was truly thankful that she was doing well and she was healthy.
