This past Tuesday Mackenzie's K-4 preschool class took a field trip to the Build A Bear workshop in Destin, FL. We are about an hour and a half from there so it took most of the day. Matt, Judah and I were able to go with her and follow in the van to experience this special day. Her class was all excited about going and had been looking forward to this day for a while now. Judah was able to get a dog while we were there because he had never been to Build A Bear we thought it would be a treat for him as well. We decided to sign her out after they were finished at Build A Bear and do a few other things in Destin while we were there because of the length of the drive. We so enjoyed the family day and the field trip. Enjoy the pictures!
Welcome to our family page. We are so excited to share about what God is doing with our family during this wonderful journey of faith.

Easter pictures
Easter morning was exciting with the kids coming down the stairs to see what was in their baskests. As they went through their stuff Judah just squeeled and stomped his feet and Mackenzie stay pretty quiet going through her eggs. Easter mornings are always a little different but busy with the excitment of church and the day together. We were able to enjoy church service and our church family and in the afternoon church was cancelled to spend time with family. We sure enjoyed the break after a busy weekend.

Easter Road Trip to Georgia
Our Easter weekend began on Thursday when we went on a rode trip to Georgia to see family. Matt had Good Friday off so we decided to make the most of a long holiday weekend. We stayed with his mom and dad and truly enjoyed our visit. Our main focus was to see his grandmother and grandfather (the grandkids call them Gigi and Papa). They live in Athens, GA and so we traveled to see them on Friday for the day. She cooked a really good country lunch with pork roast, mashed potatoes, black-eye peas, collard greens, corn bread and a few other goodies. We sure did enjoy the time visiting with them and Matt's aunt and uncle, too. Matt's Aunt Jill did an easter egg hunt for Mackenzie, Judah and Brady and they enjoyed finding the goodies along with the candy she hid for them. Mackenzie and Judah also enjoyed a golf cart ride with Uncle Lindsey (that was the real high light because Mackenzie got to drive). Hope you enjoy the pictures of our busy but great weekend. We arrived back on Saturday evening just in time for Easter on Sunday. More pictures of Easter are coming, too.

Down By The Creek Bank
Our children's choir did a wonderful job with their musical last night at church. They did Down By The Creek Bank. Most people probably remember the musical from when we were little so it was really neat being able to see Mackenzie enjoy doing it at her age. There were 40 kids involved in the program and they did a wonderful job. I tried to get a few pictures to show her doing the motions but I didn't get as many as I thought. Judah was in there with us as well so holding a 16 month old and trying to take pictures went okay. Hope you enjoy seeing them.
