To update some of you because we haven't said a whole lot about the past few months we are currently still waiting to see what God has in store for us. We have been praying and continuing to stay focused on his will for our family since Matt resigned from the church where we were serving. Sometimes it is harder on some days than others but we have continued to see God bless us in His time. We feel like Job in some cases because of all we have dealt with since January and the change with our family occurred. But God is still faithful no matter what. Since January Sadye joined our family and what a blessing she is. We also had to deal with Matt having his wisdom teeth removed due to infection and also he experienced a fever virus during the time that his dad was dealing with his heart emergency so we couldn't leave to been with him as we would have liked to. There for a while our weeks were so crazy and we never knew what each day was going to hold. But we knew and still God is with us. Our house is still for sale and we are praying for the buyer that God will send to purchase it in His time.
The kids are doing well and we are enjoying the summer visiting family when we can and just enjoying the family. Mackenzie turned 6 on May 2nd and we had a interesting way of celebrating. Matt's dad had open heart surgery the day after her birthday so our birthday plans for her were altered because of the emergency. She did well with the transition because we stayed with friends in the ATL area that helped us with the kids while we were at the hospital the day of the surgery. Our kids loved the visit with them. We were so thankful for our friends being that God provided the help we needed during this time. Judah continues to be a handful and into so much but we are almost potty trained and mommy is really excited about that. He was ready himself and wanted to start not to long after Sadye was born. He is such a boy and each day brings joy and interesting scenerios for us to deal with. Sadye is 4 months old now and doing well. She loves to watch Mackenzie and Judah play and she loves to talk with them when they want to share with her whatever they might be doing at the time. Her eyes just light up when they pay attention to her. She also loves to hear herself talk and make noise too. But all of them are so much fun right now and we enjoy them being around everyday.
Please continue to pray for our family during this transition period and that we stay open to God's leading where ever he directs us to go next.
In His Time,
Janel
