These past 10 weeks I have been a part of a huge blessing that I wasn't sure I needed. The church we are attending, Glen Haven Baptist Church, started a new women's Bible study this winter and I wasn't sure about attending but then just thought I would try it. We ended our last meeting today and what a blessing it has been to me these past 10 weeks. We were studying Beth Moore's study, "Jesus the One and Only" and I wasn't to sure about the homework that comes with some of her studies but I was really wanting to try it out and see what one of her study's were like. I had never had an opportunity to attend one much less even try to do any of the homework. She does give a lot of homework in some of her studies but I found the times it struggled to get the homework done I really enjoyed what I was learning. Boy, my eyes opened and what a tremendous opportunity I count it being able to be a part of the study recently.
These past 14 months of our life have been so hard for our family and we have not looked to anyone else but the Lord to show us his plan for our family. However, not being as close to Him as I would like to and now to have my heart be as tenderized as to who He is more now that ever. As I rode home from Bible study today we were listening on the radio to Mercy Me's, Bring The Rain and remembering that we have had that rain these past 14 months and we do not know when it will end but we know that God is with us through it all. He is real and is wanting us to cling to Him no matter what is going on. I wasn't really believing that one and now I know that he is holding his hand out to us just wanting us to do what we need to do and have faith in Him.
I am so thankful for the ladies I was able to study with and glean from them sharing as well. The Lord sure knew what I needed these past 10 weeks and I am so thankful for what he had already planned for me to be a part of all I had to do was take that step and try. I was able to make every meeting and the kids enjoyed hanging out with other homeschool kids while I was learning more to share with them, too.
For whoever reads this, He is the only answer you need for whatever you are dealing with and even though you might not see it now as we don't still yet either, he is with you walking with you.
1 Peter 1:6-9 "In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith-the salvation of your souls."
Welcome to our family page. We are so excited to share about what God is doing with our family during this wonderful journey of faith.

Sadye is 1!
We are glad to announce that our little princess is now 1. Her birthday was Sunday, February 27th and we celebrated her BIG day on Saturday the 26th. We can't believe that she is already a year old. We are thankful for her precious spirit already. Her personality is so sweet and she is our lovey child. She loves to cuddle and give hugs and kisses. Judah and Mackenzie weren't really ever like that much. She still has the darkest hair of any of them and not much has come in yet. How I would hope it would be curly but I don't think that is going to happen. But in time we will see. Please enjoy the pictures of her special day. Nana, Papa, Mimi, Granddaddy, Uncle Pat, Aunt Anne, Addie, Carson, Uncle Tim, Aunt Tara, Andrew and Rebekah were able to join us.
She keeps us busy like her brother and sister but the Lord has sure blessed us with three curious kiddos. We just pray that they stay that way and want to learn all they can about Him as they grow. And that we are examples they need to see to be able to do that.
